SS Robin Conservation Project
The SS Robin is the world's oldest complete steam coaster and one of London's most historical vessels. She is currently moored in the Royal Victoria Docks in East London, where she will be going under repairs with the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).
Advanced Eco Blast was invited to tender the conservation project of the SS Robin to make good the steel upper deck which has failed over the years and has allowed water ingress into the ship.
The challenge of this project was to remove the top coating without making any damage to the heritage elements and to preserve all the original features of the boat.
